How To Judge Items

• If an item boosts your current bottleneck, keep it even before chasing full sets.
• Passive items are useful because they keep working without taking the same attention as active item choices.
• Pedestal upgrades are strong once you have reliable item effects to amplify.
• Gumball Goose adds permanent gumball bonuses that stack separately from item effects.
• Set unlocks matter once a set bonus beats your best single loose item.

Why An Item May Not Fit A Pedestal

Passive item	Passive items are meant to provide ongoing bonuses without behaving like normal pedestal items.
No pedestal slot	Buy Pedestal Slot and pedestal upgrades before expecting several active items to work at once.
Set planning	Sometimes a weaker-looking item is still worth keeping because it completes a set or enables a stronger set bonus.
Wrong bottleneck	If an item boosts a room you are not currently pushing, store it until that room becomes your blocker.
